Help - F.A.Q. short for Frequently Asked Questions

1. How do I build my first town ?

Every time you login to your new account , the first page that opens after the welcome page will be your Kingdom Overview . Here you have a button called
Create new town . Click it , select your city coordinates and then give it a name . It's your Capital city so give it a representative name .

2. What is the meaning of the button 'purge' ?

That is serious business . By pressing it , you delete the town that is currently selected . Use it only in cases of major danger , when you consider that a town can't be saved anymore and you don't want your enemy to enjoy the spoils of war . Don't let it become a habbit .

3. What should I build first and how ?

Well , this is a real time strategy game so you should focus on the resource buildings first . The resource buildings are the Lumber Camp and the Stone Quarry .
These buildings have designated spots in your town. You should read this link to see how and where to build them .

4. When I enter the Conclave there is a button called ' Set taxes and food rations' . What does it do ?

There lies the secret of your town's development . Depending on how you use it , you can have a 1000 people town in 30 days or in 2 days .
Pople are born into your settlement . High food ration and low taxes means high population and vice-versa . You should experiment to see what settings to approve .

5. Why isn't my population growing ?

There are two reasons for that . First one is that you probably set the taxes and food rations in a way that doesn't motivate your population to reproduce .
The second reason could be that you don't have enoough food or free housing , but if this is the case , then you will be prompted with a warning message when you access the statistics at the Conclave .

6. Why my resource stockpile stagnated ?

There is only one possible answer for that . In order to produce , you need space to deposit your production , right ? This means that your warehouse is full .
You can do two things about it . First , you can spend some of your resources . I'm sure you will have plenty of things to spend them on . Second , you can upgrade your warehouse level .

7. I want to build faster . How can I achieve that ?

The only way is to upgrade your Conclave . The higher it is the better speeds up the building process .
I don't have all day to play this game . How can I get a longer building queue ? Well , you should consider becoming a Premium player .

8. I would like to create new settlements . Any tips ?

Ok , you have three things to accomplish :

- have three pioneers in your capital .
- have a sufficient Bureaucracy level (eg : if you own 2 cities , you must have Bureaucracy lvl 3 to be able to start a new town . If you have 3 cities , you need Bureaucracy level 4 and so on )
- at least 2100 wood ,stone and exotic resource ( iron/blue fire/coral/sulfur )stored at the capital .
Once you have all of the above :
- Go to the town list ( the page where you can see your capital with it's population , coordinates , purge option etc) and ,
- Choose [ create new town ] .
- Then you do the same thing as you did when creating your first town (aka the capital) : insert name , choose town position (try to put the new town ,close to your capital ,so you can defend it easier) .

9. How can I attack another player ?

Where violence fails , extreme violence should do the job . First make sure you have troops with which to attack . Then go to the Barracks and choose dispatch troops .
Then insert the number of each troop type you want to send . Choose the attack type and insert the name of the town you want to target . And you are set for some serious arse kicking .

9. The thieves look cool . Are they of any use ?

Thieves are extremly dangerous in the hands of a player that knows what he is doing . When you have some thieves , go to the Thieves Den and select 'go to thief missions' .
Here are the thieve missions from the simplest to the most complex .

Infiltrate = Reports on the numbers of thieves that your opponent holds.
Overview = Reports on the buildings and their respective levels , in a town that your opponent holds.
Spy on Military = Reports on the number of troops and types that your opponent holds .
Rob the Treasury = Steals gold from your opponent's treasury .
Warehouse Hit = Steals wood/stone from your opponent's warehouse.
Kidnapping= Kidnaps population from your enemy and brings them to your town .
*Night Strike = Assassinates a portion of your enemy's troops .
*Sabotage Tax Collectors = Your enemy will collect lesser tax for a hour . This is an effect that stacks .
* Only for the Elves

10. Am I protected from bigger players ?

Yes you are ! There is a game rule that prevents someone to attack players 45% bigger than them and 25% smaller than them .
Another good protection would be the walls . You should upgrade them a lot because they offer bonus defense and protect resources .
